What do we do?

Local authorities have a responsibility to collect refuse from your home under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Ubico carries out this function on behalf of several local authorities from whom we deliver services for.

Why do we collect information about you?

Local authorities have a legal duty to collect household waste. They are the controllers for your data, Ubico processes your data on their behalf. We do offer assisted collections for members of the public that require support to get their refuse, recycling, food and garden waste to the kerbside.

What Information do we Collect about you?

Name, Address, and Telephone number

For who?

Your Local authority - Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, Gloucester City Council, Tewkesbury Borough Council, West Oxfordshire District Council and Stroud District Council.

Who do we share it with?

We will share your information with Ubico departments in order to carry out this service or to address any concerns you may have and with your Local Authority.

Is any Information transferred outside the EEA?

No

How long will we keep it?

We will keep your information for as long as you require this service.

Who do we collect information From?

Your Local Authority.

What are the consequences if we don't collect the data?

You may not have your waste and recycling collected.
